Katherine King So gives a natural performance that fits the tone of the story well, and the chemistry between the two lead actors feels easy and believable, helping the film flow nicely. The film’s clear affection for vintage clothing is a novel bonus. This is an adaptation of Jessica Hart’s book written for a more modern and diverse audience.
