JAYSON M @Jayson1428 Sep 12, 2026 Take a big bong hit and watch this movie! You will love it lol See more R T @CertSpEd Jul 27, 2026 I read Roger Ebert’s criticism of this movie and I don’t like it, and I don’t buy it. I spent many years in special ed with junior and senior high, and there are all kinds of different disabling behaviors. The characters portrayed by Juliette Lewis, and Giovanni Ribisi are extremely well acted and reminded me of some of my students. I feel this is an important movie, especially during this time of children being left behind. It addressed interfamily issues, transition to workplace, interpersonal challenges, in short a plethora of developmental issues while making me laugh and cry at the same time. I thought it was an excellent movie. Dominic and Eugene I have also seen. That deals much less with special education than it does family trauma if Roger Ebert thinks that the other sister is contrived or trite, I think Dominic and Eugene is more guilty of that. It’s very difficult for a special ed kid to even get a job let alone support a genius twin brother. Giovanni knocked it out of the park, acting wise, and was definitely a feel good movie. See more Kathy V. @RT64332554 Mar 2, 2026 Perfect movie for me. I cry. Should be rebooted, not remade. Ribisi , so underrated, pops up in so so so many movies. The Gift, he should have gotten an award. Very talented. See more thiago s @Thiagostone Feb 1, 2026 Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom See more Amy G @Amytheshort Dec 17, 2025 One of my favorite movies. Giovanni/ juliet Lewis are a great combination of actors to put together. They make their relationship seem like it was meant to be. Diane keaton also plays the near oteric mother brilliantly.
