Jake Pentecost is a once-promising Jaeger pilot whose legendary father gave his life to secure humanity's victory against the monstrous Kaiju. Jake has since abandoned his training only to become caught up in a criminal underworld. I'm not sure even fans will find this industrial-strength head-banger entertaining. The best thing is that Pacific Rim: Uprising is under two hours though I have to warn you - it feels much longer.

Don’t get me wrong, if you’re here mainly to watch robots faceoff against monsters, you’ll likely leave fairly satisfied. Pacific Rim Uprising disappointingly settles for simply being passable.

"Wow this is very good fan fil..........wait what do you mean this is a sequel to Pacific rim?" Where do i start, Mid characters, Mid music (awful remix of the pacific rim theme withstanding) Mid Jaegers, Mid Kaiju, Mid action, Mid story, Mid climax, Mid Jokes, Mid acting, Mid CGI. This film should be honourably renamed "Pacific Mid: fall-off"

Synopsis
