Academy Award® winners Juliette Binoche and Morgan Freeman lead this riveting thriller set in the trucking industry and its seamy underbelly of human trafficking. To save the life of her brother (Frank Grillo), Sally (Binoche), a truck driver, reluctantly agrees to smuggle illicit cargo: a girl named Leila (Hala Finley). Juliette Binoche is unfortunately miscast as a gruff truck driver who goes on the run with a child trafficking victim in this tedious and tacky movie that is ineptly made on every single level. Paradise Highway leads to a hellish road of lousy filmmaking.

I don't know how they got big name actors for this mediocre script about a serious subject. So many implausible things, yet the ending was pretty predictable.

I liked it. Juliette Binoche and Morgan Freeman were great in their roles. I highly recommend for drama/suspense thriller. I especially enjoyed the process of morality by main character Sally through her relationship development with the young girl.
