In this animated sequel, John Smith (Donal Gibson) goes missing after soldiers try to capture him on charges of treason that were trumped-up by devious Gov. Ratcliffe (David Ogden Stiers). Smith's longtime love, Native American princess Pocahontas (Irene Bedard), is devastated by the news. In the meantime she must voyage to England as an ambassador. With her dashing guide, John Rolfe (Billy Zane), Pocahontas enters a strange new world, determined to prevent an unjust war against her people.

Strikes familiar notes of how the true 'savages' are the Englishmen...but in the end, the princess gives herself over to an Englishman and literally drifts away in the wrong direction of history. [Blu-ray]

The film's history lesson is too ludicrous to view as anything but comedy.

I LOVE the first one so much I decided to watch the second one hoping it was as good as the first IT SUCKS they should have kept John Smith as the love interest who tf is John Rolf or whatever the hell, they were SO in love and they just brush each other off after every thing they’ve been through in the first one!? I’m pissed fr sloppy story line no good character development just not good just watch the first one and never ever watch this second one use your imagination to finish Pocahontas and John smiths love story trust me .

I never seen straight to video sequels from Disney. But I was curious about the sequel of Pocohontas. It was okay! The theme is still obviously racisme. But truly the arrogance and racisme is shown even bigger. To be honest nothing really changed in our so cold civilization.
