The anthology story follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history: a Viking raider guiding her young son on a bloody quest for revenge, a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal battle for succession, and a WWII pilot who takes to the sky to investigate an otherworldly threat to the Allied cause. But while all these warriors are killers in their own right, they are merely prey for their new opponent -- the ultimate killer of killers.

Critics Consensus

Plunking the Predator into a series of inspired matchups with a striking visual palette, Killer of Killers is a lean, mean, and just plain awesome addition to the iconic sci-fi franchise.

It’s all bloody ultra-violence and comic book excess which is a good change of pace.

Trachtenberg and co-director Josh Wassung keep the action, animation and attention humming along throughout while the screenplay from Micho Robert Rutare intriguingly weaves these three tales together for a killer final act.

A-

Trachtenberg’s imagination here seems literally boundless. The Predator franchise is more than safe in his hands — it’s thriving.

While Predator: Killer of Killers has some decent action scenes and some promise in its epilogue, it’s painfully predictable and left me nostalgic for the ridiculous yet passionate Schwarzenegger-led 80s flick.

It's really disappointing how much of a mess Predator: Killer of Killers is by comparison to Prey. It's a directionless way to continue the franchise and tide audiences over while they wait for Badlands' release.

Not the genre I like. Made for children under 10 y.0. Had to FF through lots of scenes … Just boring. The fighter pilot act was absurd and ridiculous. The creators obviously know nothing about aviation and the laws of physics. Jamming the controls of a US Navy fighterwith a spanner and walks out onto the wing tip is just too stupid and ridiculous to watch further.

Honestly, I thought the writing was some of the best in the entire franchise. The animation was outstanding, the voice acting superb. Definitely worth the watch if you're a fan of Predator films. Just gotta say it blew a number of live-action Predator films out of the water.

Brilliant! Just wish Dan Trachtenberg used Wētā FX, Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) or perhaps even Pixar - seeing that it is an absolutely epic story, the visuals should have been first rate. But it suffice as is, lean, mean and no nonsense. Very well written and brought to screen. Adds a welcome addition, perspective and new insights into the Predator world. Entertaining and captivating

6.9/10. Animation is pretty cool but is stylized more for anime watchers. Action and hunters are great, and the ending is new and exciting. The rest of it lacks anything special or cool.
