Ian S @RT48225084 15h Potboiler. The acting by the two leads was okay. Film looked quite good but the story was a bit of a muddle. For a one time watch, not too bad but the director Peter Sykes made much better movies later in the decade. See more 03/18/2022 Green shot frolics in the water - then the eerie music as it stops being fun. Screams and shocks and close-ups of eyes. Very nicely done, bold opening with great sounds! That distrust of outsiders - (Wicker man) every fucking small town! There's a jaggedness, a brokenness,to the direction that compliments the feel. Lovely atmosphere, with the englishman abroad. There's so much that's nicely ambiguous. wobbly end, mind. See more Read all reviews
