The Elephant in the Room tells a love story set right in the middle of a political divide, but it doesn’t feel loud or over-the-top. Instead of turning everything into an argument, it focuses more on the people involved and how complicated things can get when beliefs clash. It’s really about two people trying to make sense of their feelings while navigating a world that keeps pulling them in different directions. The pacing isn’t perfect, and a few parts feel a bit slow, but the performances are strong and the conversations feel meaningful. It raises some thoughtful questions about whether a relationship can survive big differences in values and perspective.
