Ah! Young Love! "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" reminded me I have the heart of a teenage girl, even though I'm a 70 year old man. I loved every minute. The central theme -- L.J.'s desire for, and anxiety about being seen instead of invisible -- is beautifully scripted and played out and also true to a core tension of many introverted emerging adults who navigate the self-other tension. That both L.J. and Peter have lost parents adds depth. Skilfull acting of tenderness/vulnerability, couch/bedroom scenes, soft colors, and light romantic music made this a comfy pleasure. Great plot with Shakespearean twists, keep you guessing. It was great for me to re-live feelings from 55 years ago. Those bored watching the longer conversation scenes may be more extrovered. To them, I would recommend watching again. Some might think the takeaway is to always remember to tell others how you feel. I think tis more about opening up/enjoying the sweetness of life, while it lasts! Ah! Young Love!

everyone was like "you haven't seen this??" and idk why but i never watched it. it was a cute movie, sometimes akward but i liked it. Lara jean liking her sister's bf was lowk weird but i also dk what she saw in peter they were cute though. there's more movies but everyone has told me they're bad so I'm probably not going to watch them.
