Upset about his dating troubles, failing writer Marty Sachs (Ron Livingston) considers leaving New York City. At a party, he meets acerbic Nina Cohen (Cara Buono), who is just as bitter as Sachs. They begin seeing each other but Cohen, sensitive after past relationships, insists they take it slow. Marty also begins seeing Nina Harris (Amanda Peet), whom he finds physically attractive but less interesting. Unwilling to give up either Nina, Marty tries to conceal them from each other.

Watched this years ago. Totally enjoyed it. The second time, well less than the first time. But still liked it!

Have you ever watched a movie & lost total interest pretty much right away!?! Yeah that's this lame flick. Extra star for the two hottie Ninas!!

I like Ron Livingston, but this movie didn't really do him justice. For the most part, this movie was ok. For some reason, however, it was missing that little bit of "something" that makes it really good.

Continuity: Nina Cohen's friend Carrie refers to Nina's apartment as being number 3A, but earlier in the film we see that her apartment is actually number 3B. Continuity: Nina Cohen describes the Mustang she is buying from the ad in the paper as a 1966 Mustang. At the end of the movie, the Mustang is the 1965 model that she said she preferred.
