Garcia & Collette are the highlights of this romantic scenario ... great chemistry, taking ordinary dialogue to seductive heights. Pettyfer and De Dominici are both beautiful actors, and create tension themselves in a will-they-or-won’t-they struggle. Go to Full Review

Whilst as a romantic comedy it isn’t perhaps the funniest venture – it’s the type of movie to elicit a warm smile as opposed to a belly laugh – Under the Stars is all so very agreeable that its shortcomings are forgiven. Go to Full Review

This is a quiet, slow-paced romance with some gentle humor and a lot of gorgeous Italian countryside. Go to Full Review

“Under the Stars” has two fine actors in Andy Garcia and Toni Collette, but they’re in support mode here, leaving the rest of the movie to tepid events and easily solvable problems. Go to Full Review

성주 장 @seongjoo Jan 14 Under the Stars is a tender and uplifting romantic journey that shines through its performances and evocative setting. Michelle Danner’s direction emphasizes intimacy and authenticity, drawing compelling work from a stellar ensemble cast that includes Andy Garcia, Toni Collette, Alex Pettyfer, and Eva De Dominici. The film blends romance and humor with a reflective tone, offering a heartfelt exploration of love after loss. It’s a charming escape that lingers long after the final scene. See more Teferi S @Harrison252 Jan 12 This is one of those quiet movies that sneaks up on you. It is a film that feels human. A huge reason it works is the performances. Toni Collette is excellent. She is emotionally precise without ever pushing. Andy Garcia brings a calm, steady presence that gives the film real weight. Moments feel observed rather than staged. The film doesn’t wrap everything up neatly. It’s more about the exploration of the meaning of love. If you’re looking for something loud or plot-heavy, this isn’t it. But if you like films that feel reflective and grounded, Under the Stars is worth spending time with. See more Andrew H @Droidy Jan 6 So disappointed, love Toni Collette and Andy Garcia and watched for as long as I could before finally giving up with 30 minutes to go on a predictable and cheesy film. Not sure if it was the writing/acting or directing which let the actors down (or maybe all three). See more K W @Woodkc Jan 6 Terrible plot, no romance and no comedy. It was a painful, predictable ‘Hallmark’ style movie only more stale. I was most surprised to discover there was a director. See more Roxana M. M @RMONTERO Jan 2 Odie a la protagonista, que odiosa y gritona. La película es lenta y aburrida, no tiene chispa. See more T M @Whatdoiknow459 Dec 21 Absolutely dreadful Watched this because I’m a fan of Garcia and T.Collette but it was flat, lacking chemistry, believability and storyline. Very disappointing but almost amusing to watch… See more Read all reviews
