A completely harmless movie. I was prepared for the absolute worst, based on some of these ratings, but its actually okay. Jemima Kirke and Jamie Dornan have great chemistry, and since its their story that carries most of the movie, I can't complain. There is also an interesting theme about the importance of the stories we tell - to ourselves and eachother, and I feel like that was delivered quite well.

Couldn't even get through it. Characters were all extremely unlikable and not enough character building to help understand how they became these f-ed up broken people... I was so just so annoyed by everyone and their bad interactions with each other, I couldn't care what happened to them. Billy Crystal and Jennifer Grey were nice surprises I suppose. Sad they were wasted in this stupid movie.

First of all the cat a transgender 2020 am I right everyone's doing it second of all these girls have the worst daddy issues ever third the guy from fifty shades of grey accent is so horrible it sounds like he watched hours of Conner mcgregor videos to learn his horrible accent can't understand a word he says and also the rabbi had no part of this movie made no sense and he was eating Chinese food 2/10 movie and the rabbi I give him a 0/10

People like to hate this film. And I disagree. I think the imperfection of it makes sense - there is a vapidness to life and in particular life in LA that can be brittle and awkward. And I think the cast captures it in a really lovely way. The love the relationship you from with every character. The insecurity and inner conflict. I say well done.

This was unfortunately a bad movie with poor characters and annoying stories. The whole star goes for Billy Crystal obviously. The lead were horrible, the plot wasn't there.
