Boomer7332 Mar 25, 2026 One of the worst movies I've ever seen. Waste of time & money! See more zack Mar 23, 2026 Entertaining lower budged flick. Sexy vampires were a definite plus. Honestly my biggest complaint was some of the music selections. How you have a vampire movie trying to be sexy without some Deftones or something similar is beyond me See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Aug 13, 2026 Vampire of the Velvet Lounge is the worst horror movies I’ve watched in a long time. Almost nothing about it worked for me. The vampire elements were disappointing. The effects, bloodshed, action, and presentation felt weak. For a movie built around vampires, I expected something entertaining, but instead, it felt like disaster. The story didn’t help either. The idea of vampires bringing people to their home could have been developed into something dark and disturbing, but the execution was so confusing that I never understood what the movie was trying to accomplish. The film also moves in different directions without purpose. Nothing builds, the action doesn’t deliver, and the horror fails to create atmosphere. Ultimately, Vampire of the Velvet Lounge is a complete miss for me. The effects are weak, the action is disappointing, and the screenplay feels all over the place. I cannot recommend it. It wasn’t scary, thrilling, or engaging, and I wanted it to end! See more Andrei D @RT74856639 Jun 22, 2026 It's somewhat fascinating as a trainwreck, struggles to put too many plots into one movie, the acting is mostly dumb, the action is limited, and the Dorff is the cherry on top See more Vivienne S @viviennesol May 23, 2026 I loved Vampires. It’s a refreshingly original story stylized to camp perfection, with a slick film noir meets horror edge. The female-forward cast made it even more memorable. I laughed and I squirmed. There’s also an interesting layer about the psychology of vampires and how they get in your head, which felt like a larger allegorical theme. I still find myself quoting Tim Murphy’s line from the beginning "YOU’RE IN MY BRAAAIIIN" lol. See more Dylan S @Natron3000 May 23, 2026 VotVL is wild ride that doesn't stop. The cast is great. The horror is gruesome. The visuals are spectacular. In an age of carbon copies and remakes of the same stuff we've consumed in entertainment for the last 40 years its refreshing to watch something original and special. See more Read all reviews
