Bill T @btreakle Jul 4, 2026 “Wild Horses “ This Robert Duvall film was from 2015 and it's quite a good one as well and Robert Duvall movies. Josh harnett also stars in his film and this the film is about family acceptance love in grief. That’s a good western setting with the great storyline I believe this one was produced by Robert Duvall and directed as well as he started it. This is a film for all ages and if you like westerns you certainly like this one. A homophobic father tries to reconnect with his gay son and at the same time a female Texas ranger reopens a fifteen year old case involving the disappearance of a man involved with one of the brig brothers. Great cast but the story was predictable and boring at times. Tim Treakle See more John L @Jlungs Jan 7, 2026 What a waste of talent. Probably the biggest waste in Hollywood history See more Kandy A @RT74818817 Oct 4, 2025 What a terrible movie. Terrible wooden acting from Robert Duvall and Luciana Pedraza as the female Texas Ranger had no credibility. I felt sorry for Josh Hartnett and James Franco as they did a good job despite a very weak story line with other weak members of the cast. A massive yawn. See more Ed D @RT17906482 Oct 23, 2024 Any movie with Duvall is worth a look - except this one. Terrible acting, disjointed scenes, and a lady Texas Ranger with a speech impediment for an accent. Its almost like they ad-libbed every scene. Abolute Trainwreck. See more May 17, 2022 Most of the acting was ok... its not the type of movie that requires truly dramatic acting (though maybe thats what it needed). The main problem is the lack of a main story arc, and a jumble of several internal arcs that were simply incoherent. It's just one of those movies that doesn't really do anything... no tugging on heart strings... no suspension of disbelief... no wrapping you up in the protagonist... no clear antagonist... Just not a good film. See more Read all reviews
