I see where the hate for this movie comes from. It’s not horrible but most of the negatives just come down to the writing. Don’t get me wrong I really like Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine but I think way too many characters were sidelined in favor of putting most of the movie’s focus on him.

It was a unnecessary sequel. The story isn't good, but it's not a bad movie. Mediocre at its best, it's just a jumpstart for more sequels. At least the ending was satisfying.

A huge disappointment that squandered the excellent work built up in the first two films. The script is extremely rushed, killing off iconic characters without any dramatic weight and turning Jean Grey’s transformation into the Dark Phoenix into a mere tool for generic action. The cast—doing what they can with terrible material—and a few entertaining action scenes are the only saving graces. A clumsy and soulless conclusion to the trilogy.

Entertaining, but not as well written I loved too watch this movie but it definitely wasn’t as well written as the two before HUGE SPOILER ALERTS: When the professor was done, aka got shredded to pieces. It was a pretty lazy and dishonorable way to kill one of the main characters Also Jean killing cyclops and turning evil, etc. It just could’ve been written so much better During the movie it was entertaining yet looking back, it’s obvious it’s not a fantastic movie Not to mention colossus and juggernaut being done so badly (Deadpool fixed this lol) To be honest I will rate it a 3.5 stars because yet so silly, it was entertaining enough to want to watch the whole thing 3.5 stars
