Influencers (2025) 96% EDIT “By letting CW go buckwild and stacking the cast with unsuspecting victims for her to toy with, Harder confirms that he's one of the most exciting independent voices in the genre.” – Slashfilm Dec 16, 2025 Full Review Five Nights at Freddy's 2 (2025) 16% 4/10 EDIT “"Five Nights at Freddy's 2" plays out like a movie written by Reddit fan theories that will only make sense to people who were forged in the discourse mines.” – Slashfilm Dec 4, 2025 Full Review Zootopia 2 (2025) 91% 8/10 EDIT “"Zootopia 2" is the rare example of a follow-up film that can live up to the high bar set by the first movie, an all-time great sequel for the House of Mouse, and one of the best buddy-cop movies in years.” – Slashfilm Nov 25, 2025 Full Review Wicked: For Good (2025) 66% 7/10 EDIT “The parallels between the Wizard's brand of brainwashing and what we're currently seeing play out in our own governments are often uncanny, which makes it frustrating when the film doesn't dive deeper than a wading pool.” – Slashfilm Nov 18, 2025 Full Review In Your Dreams (2025) 86% EDIT “"In Your Dreams" utilizes our collective sense of animated adventure film familiarity to tell an emotional, mature story that is still easily digestible for viewers who will be more excited about Baloney Tony's laser farts.” – Slashfilm Nov 14, 2025 Full Review Queens of the Dead (2025) 83% EDIT “Yet another instance of Katy O’Brian proving that she is one of the most commanding performers currently working today. ” – Fangoria Nov 7, 2025 Full Review Predator: Badlands (2025) 86% EDIT “PREDATOR: BADLANDS is the kind of audacious, whip-smart blockbuster filmmaking that we desperately need these days, where the unique vision of someone who obviously loves making movies is allowed to make the damn film.” – Fangoria Nov 7, 2025 Full Review D(e)ad (2025) EDIT “It's so refreshing to see a truly independent film made outside of the usual systems find success by playing on its own terms and not relying on any of the traditional pathways or gatekeepers for permission.” – Slashfilm Sep 13, 2025 Full Review The Long Walk (2025) 88% 9/10 EDIT “The Long Walk is an emotionally obliterating all-time great Stephen King adaptation, and undoubtedly one of the best films of 2025.” – Slashfilm Sep 2, 2025 Full Review Together (2025) 89% EDIT “TOGETHER doesn’t tack on the body horror as some sort of tired gimmick; it’s the cinematic language that this story demands to be told in. The gross-out effects work as well as they do because they match the overwhelming level of emotion. ” – Fangoria Jul 29, 2025 Full Review I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025) 36% 7/10 EDIT “Just know that "I Know What You Did Last Summer" understands why the original series is so beloved, despite it admittedly being goofy as hell. ” – Slashfilm Jul 16, 2025 Full Review KPop Demon Hunters (2025) 92% EDIT “Every set piece dazzles, drenched in hyper-saturated color and kinetic detail — but it's the quieter, or more absurd character moments that truly shine.” – Slashfilm Jul 9, 2025 Full Review M3GAN 2.0 (2025) 57% 6.5/10 EDIT “Those hoping for a true-to-form horror sequel are surely going to be disappointed, but there's plenty of fun to be found in M3GAN's messy mayhem. ” – Slashfilm Jun 25, 2025 Full Review Horror Noire: A History of Black Horror (2019) 100% EDIT “For horror fans (especially white ones), this isn’t extra credit — this is required viewing. If horror is about facing uncomfortable truths, then it’s time to sit back, listen, and learn.” – Fangoria Jun 19, 2025 Full Review Lilo & Stitch (2025) 72% 6.5/10 EDIT “Fortunately, this new "Lilo & Stitch" isn't trying to compete with its source material, and boldly refocuses the emotional heartstrings in a new direction. ” – Slashfilm May 20, 2025 Full Review Bring Her Back (2025) 89% EDIT “Writhing in the misery of "Bring Her Back" triggers such existential agony and visceral discomfort that it can make the movie feel like an endurance test.” – Fangoria May 16, 2025 Full Review Final Destination Bloodlines (2025) 92% 8/10 EDIT “I say this with no hyperbole, "Final Destination Bloodlines," the sixth installment in the franchise, is the bloody best one yet. ” – Slashfilm May 13, 2025 Full Review Thunderbolts* (2025) 88% 7/10 EDIT “The result is a genuinely human tale of supercharged antiheroes, and an exploration of how exposure to non-stop violence can cause permanent psychic damage. ” – Slashfilm Apr 29, 2025 Full Review Your Fat Friend (2023) 83% EDIT “This documentary is about Aubrey Gordon's rise in fame, yes, but it's also a reflection of the day-to-day experience of millions. It's honest and empathetic without ever begging the audience to see fat people as human.” – Slashfilm Apr 29, 2025 Full Review Touch Me (2025) 88% EDIT “We'd deny it if asked, but the truth is that we're all looking for our own version of tentacle sex that cures our trauma, so none of us have any room to question Addison Heimann's path to work through his own.” – Slashfilm Apr 13, 2025 Full Review Redux Redux (2025) 98% EDIT “In an era when studios are inflating already-obscene budgets in the hopes of building CGI multiverses [...] "Redux Redux" is a phenomenal reminder that money will never be a match for a great story brought to life with incredible actors.” – Slashfilm Apr 10, 2025 Full Review Sinners (2025) 97% EDIT “Sinners is currently Coogler’s magnum opus, and I can’t help but think he’s only just getting started. This isn’t only one of the best horror films of the year, it’s one of the best films, period.” – Fangoria Apr 10, 2025 Full Review The Ugly Stepsister (2025) 96% EDIT “A movie as gorgeous as it is gruesome, complete with a few moments of gore that had a handful of people audibly fighting the urge to retch in the aisles.” – Slashfilm Apr 8, 2025 Full Review Locked (2025) 63% 4/10 EDIT “"Locked" lives and dies by the performances of a trapped-in-the car Bill Skarsgård and the taunting voice of Anthony Hopkins over the vehicle's speakers, and it's evident that the two are having an absolute blast. ” – Slashfilm Mar 19, 2025 Full Review Borderline (2025) 59% EDIT “"Borderline" allows Nicholson and Weaving to make a feast out of their characters (especially Nicholson) but the script is a comedy of errors that wreaks havoc on all involved. ” – Slashfilm Mar 14, 2025 Full Review
