Roman K @RT31436010 3h The dialogue feels empty and too obvious, without the subtext that made the Netflix series strong. We also spend time with Matt’s office characters as if they already matter emotionally, but that connection was never built. Visually, it looks bigger but less purposeful: heavy flares, blown-out windows, haze, shallow focus, random zooms, shaky camera, aspect ratio shifts. It feels stylized for its own sake. The action has a similar problem: more blood and broken bones, but less weight and impact. Some scenes also look oddly artificial, almost like green screen. the show clearly treats the Netflix era as canon, even referencing Karen and Ben’s legacy, yet the actor who played Peter Lyonne in Jessica Jones appears here as Benjamin Hochberg. That makes the canon feel inconsistent and careless. Overall, it looks bigger, but feels smaller. For me, Daredevil ended with Season 3. That was canon. This feels like something else.
