Hazel's Heart (2025) EDIT “Love truly is the center of this film. The love Hazel had for her brother and sister led her to do everything she could to keep them warm and awake during the storm.” – Pauline Media Studies Jan 8, 2026 Full Review Song Sung Blue (2025) 78% EDIT “Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson sound amazing together and the energy the songs themselves create translates into their performances.” – Pauline Media Studies Dec 24, 2025 Full Review David (2025) 76% EDIT “David would make a great family outing for Christmas. It’s kid-friendly, even the parts where David and Saul are fighting, and the overarching theme of trust in God, no matter how bad things get, is a reminder we all need.” – Pauline Media Studies Dec 12, 2025 Full Review The Wilderness (2025) 91% EDIT “The path to healing after a harrowing teen experience came through art in the form of film for writer and director, Spencer King in his film, "The Wilderness." ” – Pauline Media Studies Dec 12, 2025 Full Review The Summer Book (2024) 83% EDIT “The Summer Book celebrates an appreciation of nature and a back-to-basics way of living that is much needed in a world that often seems overrun with technology, noise, and consumerism.” – Pauline Media Studies Oct 15, 2025 Full Review Vindication Swim (2024) EDIT “Despite the authenticity of the filmmaking (all the swim footage was shot in the Channel itself without green screens or body doubles), the film falls short of the worthiness of its story.” – Pauline Media Studies Oct 14, 2025 Full Review Soul on Fire (2025) 67% EDIT “With "Soul on Fire," McNamara has given audiences a story of authenticity in a time when it is sorely needed. It takes courage and vulnerability to tell a story of mistakes made, running away from reality, and eventual healing.” – Pauline Media Studies Oct 8, 2025 Full Review Grow (2025) 93% EDIT “The heart of Grow is in the budding relationship between Dinah and Charlie, two lonely souls who find that their new life together is not without its challenges, whether that be from within the family or from the pumpkin-crazed people around them.” – Pauline Media Studies Oct 6, 2025 Full Review Stolen Girl (2025) EDIT “In the end, the film’s redemption comes in its portrayal of the cost of sacrificial love.” – Pauline Media Studies Sep 25, 2025 Full Review Broken Mary: The Kevin Matthews Story (2025) EDIT “The man who was once famous for his radio shows, now becomes “Mary’s Roadie,” famous for his testimony to the hope that can be found when we acknowledge our brokenness and call upon Jesus, through the intercession of Mary, for healing and forgiveness.” – Pauline Media Studies Sep 24, 2025 Full Review Looking Through Water (2025) 83% EDIT “Looking Through Water speaks to the destructive power of holding on to old grudges and resentments as well as the need for open and honest communication in families. It also witnesses to the hope possible when healing is embraced.” – Pauline Media Studies Sep 8, 2025 Full Review Triumph of the Heart (2025) EDIT “In a world where redemptive suffering is looked upon as weakness, Triumph of the Heart shows beautifully that the cost of love is worth paying.” – Pauline Media Studies Sep 8, 2025 Full Review Light of the World (2025) 80% EDIT “Jesus is the antidote to the darkness, and "Light of the World" presents a Jesus who is kid-friendly without sugar-coating his death. The film can help children (and grown-ups) understand what the Lord did to bring light into our darkness.” – Pauline Media Studies Aug 29, 2025 Full Review Sketch (2024) 95% EDIT “"Sketch" makes for fun family fare and just might be an opportunity to talk with kids about not being afraid to express their feelings, especially in constructive, creative ways, like Amber did.” – Pauline Media Studies Aug 8, 2025 Full Review How to Train Your Dragon (2025) 77% EDIT “"How to Train Your Dragon" is a father-son, coming-of-age story that is as timely now as it was in 2010. That Hiccup had the courage to stand up for himself and Stoick had the humility to own up to his mistakes makes this movie and its story timeless.” – Pauline Media Studies Jun 19, 2025 Full Review The Ritual (2025) 9% EDIT “The most edifying thing about The Ritual for me was the willingness of those conducting the ritual to suffer themselves in order to ease the suffering of another.” – Pauline Media Studies Jun 6, 2025 Full Review Rule Breakers (2025) 81% EDIT “Rule Breakers is not just an underdog story, it’s about the human need to triumph over oppression, to be courageous in the face of discrimination, and to stand up for the truth that knowledge can give power to the powerless.” – Pauline Media Studies Feb 25, 2025 Full Review From Ground Zero (2024) 98% EDIT “The thread that ties these short films together is their snapshots of humanity. The people in these films are just like us, trying to make sense out of what their lives have become. The film gives us the opportunity to listen to these human stories.” – Pauline Media Studies Jan 9, 2025 Full Review Fighting Spirit: A Combat Chaplain's Journey (2024) EDIT “Going through such an experience helped Struecker remember this faith. He says, “I remember what my faith really means. I can go home to my family in Georgia, or I can go home to my father in heaven. I have nothing to fear.” ” – Pauline Media Studies Nov 9, 2024 Full Review The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (2024) 92% EDIT “When Beth gets frustrated with Imogene, she complains to her mom. Grace’s answer to Beth is a good reminder for all of us to practice the admonition of Jesus to love our enemies: “Jesus was born for the Herdmans as much as he was for us.” ” – Pauline Media Studies Nov 7, 2024 Full Review Conclave (2024) 93% EDIT “From the perspective of the Catholic Church, Conclave offends by taking this sacred ritual which is supposed to inspire faith, humility, and trust in the providence of God, and turns it into a disturbing commentary on human weakness and ambition.” – Pauline Media Studies Nov 7, 2024 Full Review Average Joe (2024) EDIT “Joe wonders why God chose him to be the face of the fight for religious freedom and the upholding of First Amendment rights. He’s just an average guy. That goes to show us that, average though we may be, God has a mission, a plan, for each of us.” – Pauline Media Studies Nov 7, 2024 Full Review Heart of a Servant: The Father Flanagan Story (2024) EDIT “Father Flanagan’s vision was that of the Gospel. His philosophy was that there was no such thing as a bad boy. They just need love and guidance and that is just what he gave them, along with family, education, and civic responsibility.” – Pauline Media Studies Nov 7, 2024 Full Review The Forge (2024) 63% EDIT “one cannot deny that the kind of mentoring showcased in the film could be of spiritual benefit to teens and young adults, especially those looking for direction in their lives.” – Pauline Media Studies Nov 7, 2024 Full Review Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot (2024) 82% EDIT “Sound of Hope is more than just a movie. It's a call to action. ” – Pauline Media Studies Jun 21, 2024 Full Review
