A century before the events of "Game of Thrones," two unlikely heroes wander Westeros. In an adaption of George R. R. Martin's novella "The Hedge Knight," a young and naive but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg, face a series of dangerous exploits. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne and images of the last dragon have not yet passed from living memory, great destinies and powerful foes await these improbable and incomparable friends.

A fantastic prequel that captures the grit and humor of Westeros. Peter Claffey is perfect as Dunk. It starts slow but by episode 3, you are locked in. A more personal, grounded Game of Thrones story.

A dull attempt to con GoT fans into wasting their time. The monotone 'Oirish' delivery of the main character is only surpassed in annoyance by the high-pitched whining of his bald sidekick. The heavy-handed 'humour' of the piece mainly consists of characters swearing a lot. Pointless rubbish,

A return to what made Game of Thrones great, character building through conversations between interesting, relatable figures. No CGI dragons or family orgies shoved in our faces off the jump, as if the writers are saying "Game of Thrones, am I right?!" Egg and Dunc have what's really needed for an epic adventure — heart.

I love this show. Like someone else said, this is a great reset. Yes it’s slow so far but the writing is great, the characters are interesting, and I like the fact that it’s very realistic and not flashy. People giving this show a 1 star rating have 0 attention span and need to be bombarded with dragons and magic to stay engaged.

I like how it’s different and less serious in tone than your typical GOT story. Also shorter which is effective in wanting to watch more. The two lead characters are likeable and that’s about it thru episode 2. Huge GOT fan… I don’t love this one yet, but it’s only been 2 episodes so far. Def need to see where it goes.

Love Dunk and Egg so far, I love that we’re taking time to get to know these characters. A nice refreshing take I can’t wait to see more of.

I have seen 2 episodes and I want more. Must see shows must have this. Ser Dunk is a great character I don't think he is as dumb as he seems. He is someone with a good heart amongst the wolves. Egg is a great companion he is full of character and very smart for his age. I like the interactions between these two along with the others. Well written and very interesting plot. Looking forward to great things from Ser Dunk and Egg.
