Longlegs (2024) 85% EDIT “The music feels like a soundtrack to a dream where you can’t scream or run.” – Horror Movie Blog Dec 27, 2025 Full Review Strange Darling (2023) 96% EDIT “The way the sensuality blended into the increasingly disturbing violence was masterful.” – Horror Movie Blog Dec 27, 2025 Full Review Never Let Go (2024) 57% EDIT “The performances, big ideas, overwhelming dread, and psychological horror make Never Let Go worth the watch, although the resolution left me unsatisfied.” – Horror Movie Blog Dec 27, 2025 Full Review The Well (2025) 44% EDIT “It creates dread because death is constantly looming, but the danger has to do more than loom to give audiences a thrill. ” – Horror Movie Blog Dec 27, 2025 Full Review 13 Days Till Summer (2025) EDIT “ I highly recommend 13 Days Till Summer; the tension will keep you locked in, and the twist will set it apart. ” – Horror Movie Blog Dec 27, 2025 Full Review HIM (2025) 30% EDIT “The film often feels like a dream with the imagery teetering between terrifying and absurd. Although Him took bold swings that led to fumbles, I still found plenty to appreciate. ” – Horror Movie Blog Dec 27, 2025 Full Review The Void (2016) 78% EDIT “This movie is wild from the start and keeps the viewer engaged.” – Girl, That's Scary (Podcast) Oct 11, 2025 Full Review It Lives Inside (2023) 64% EDIT “This is good entry level Horror. The sound design is good and some of the visuals are terrifying. It's doesn't bite as hard as it could.” – Girl, That's Scary (Podcast) Oct 11, 2025 Full Review The Deliverance (2024) 34% EDIT “While much of the familiarity felt good, some of it felt stale. The first half was promising, and then the film became a generic demon possession film. ” – Horror Movie Blog Oct 11, 2025 Full Review The Front Room (2024) 40% EDIT “The Front Room is labeled as psychological horror, but it felt much more like a black comedy. The audience seemed to agree, with plenty of bouts of laughter in unison. I was entertained, but overall this movie was lukewarm. ” – Horror Movie Blog Oct 11, 2025 Full Review When Evil Lurks (2023) 96% EDIT “When Evil Lurks is one of the most shocking films of 2023. It’s brutal, bleak, and finds no solace in religion. ” – Dread Central Oct 11, 2025 Full Review Terrifier 3 (2024) 78% 3/5 EDIT “Damien Leone ratcheted up the carnage as we follow the surviving siblings trying to move forward after the last film’s events when Art returns for more terror during the holidays. It’s a bloody all-you-can-eat feast for the eyes. ” – Dread Central Oct 11, 2025 Full Review Monster Island (2024) 63% 4/5 EDIT “Orang Ikan has a heavy dose of kicking and punching, which is on brand for director Mike Wiluan. Fans of hand-to-hand combat, war movies, and creature features are in for a pleasant surprise. ” – Dread Central Oct 11, 2025 Full Review Animale (2024) 94% EDIT “Animale is visually stunning with fascinating camera angles and use of color. The performances are compelling and realistic, which makes it easy to become engrossed with the story, especially the conflicts. ” – Horror Movie Blog Oct 11, 2025 Full Review House of Ashes (2025) 71% EDIT “The setting and real-life horrors are what kept me interested. The story feels a little disjointed because it has so much going on. There is not enough time to give each part its proper weight.” – Horror Movie Blog Oct 11, 2025 Full Review Custom (2024) EDIT “We see flashes of terrifying imagery, but not enough to keep me focused or interested in the mystery. The visuals and the concept are the best things about the film.” – Horror Movie Blog Oct 11, 2025 Full Review Bone Lake (2024) 84% 3/5 EDIT “It felt like a good mix of Who Invited Them (2022), Barbarian (2022), and Superhost (2021) with a love story sprinkled on top. Bone Lake is worth the watch if you enjoy thrillers where interpersonal conflicts do the heavy lifting to cause tension. ” – Horror Movie Blog Oct 11, 2025 Full Review The Substance (2024) 89% 9/10 EDIT “I highly recommend avoiding all trailers and sprinting to see this movie at your earliest convenience . The Substance offers gorgeous visuals, incredible body horror, captivating performances, and sharp commentary.” – Horror Movie Blog Oct 11, 2025 Full Review Heretic (2024) 90% EDIT “Heretic dives into questions about religion and the place/burden of women under the thumb of power. The performances pull you into the story, the dialogue has some bite, and the tension is palpable.” – Horror Movie Blog Oct 11, 2025 Full Review Nosferatu (2024) 85% EDIT “Robert Eggers put his talents into a story I already loved, and it was an EXPERIENCE. With captivating performances, beautiful set pieces, attention to historical detail, and incredible camera work, Nosferatu found a way to steal the show” – Horror Movie Blog Oct 11, 2025 Full Review Heart Eyes (2025) 78% 4/5 EDIT “ Heart Eyes is a delightful yet vicious ride that entertains from start to finish. It has kills, kisses, jokes, outfits, twists, and cameos. It is equally successful as a rom-com and a ruthless slasher, which is a tough balancing act.” – Horror Movie Blog Oct 11, 2025 Full Review Rosario (2025) 70% 3/5 EDIT “Rosario rides on a great atmosphere and immersive sound design that will make you suspicious of the darkness around you. The scares are inventive, but the pacing makes the movie occasionally lose steam. There are also a few tropes I could do without. ” – Horror Movie Blog Oct 11, 2025 Full Review I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025) 36% 3/5 EDIT “ Our new villain does more than “hook” the victims. I was in love with the kills, but underwhelmed by the killer reveal. If you cherish the original, this movie might piss you off. If you enjoyed it for what it was, then there is plenty of fun to be had.” – Horror Movie Blog Oct 11, 2025 Full Review Deathgasm II: Goremageddon (2025) 4/5 EDIT “ It has the same tone, returning plot points and characters, and the consequences from the first movie are still in effect. This flick is ultimately for fans of Deathgasm, but there’s plenty to love for horror fans and metalheads. ” – Dread Central Oct 11, 2025 Full Review The House with Laughing Windows (1976) 3/5 EDIT “I was treated to an engaging mystery that would satisfy most Giallo fans, and a shocking reveal that will tattoo itself onto your brain. Unfortunately, the pacing made the film feel like a chore at times. ” – Horror Movie Blog Oct 11, 2025 Full Review
