Grizzly Night (2026) 2/5 EDIT “To its credit, “Grizzly Night” sticks close to the real-life events. But dramatically, it limps along without ever delivering the dramatic punch it needs.” – Keith & the Movies Jan 26, 2026 Full Review Mercy (2026) 23% 2.5/5 EDIT “The blueprint is there for something a lot better than what we get. It’s not without entertainment value. But the untapped potential leaves us thinking more about what might have been.” – Keith & the Movies Jan 24, 2026 Full Review The Tank (2025) 4/5 EDIT “"The Tank" follows a unique narrative path marked by clever foreshadowing and intriguing moral reflections, finishing up with a bold final act that immediately calls for a second viewing.” – Keith & the Movies Jan 21, 2026 Full Review People We Meet on Vacation (2026) 75% 3/5 EDIT “You could do a lot worse than "People We Meet on Vacation" – a romantic comedy that depends on good characters, strong chemistry, and crisp dialogue right up until it doesn’t.” – Keith & the Movies Jan 20, 2026 Full Review Killer Whale (2026) 22% 2/5 EDIT “Budget limitations and a few too many shortcuts keep this well-intentioned feature from delivering on its ambition.” – Keith & the Movies Jan 19, 2026 Full Review The Rip (2026) 80% 4/5 EDIT ““The Rip” is Joe Carnahan’s best film since “The Grey” and it’s a killer start of the year for Netflix. Inspired by true events, the story and storytelling grips you from the opening scene to the closing credits. ” – Keith & the Movies Jan 16, 2026 Full Review 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026) 93% 2/5 EDIT “We’re left with the sense that very little in the film is moving towards a particular narrative goal. The tonal hopscotch, numbing sadism, and off-balance storytelling only make things worse.” – Keith & the Movies Jan 16, 2026 Full Review Dead Man's Wire (2025) 91% 3.5/5 EDIT “(Van Sant) packages it within a classic crime thriller framework that’s soaked in a richly detailed 1970s aesthetic. It can also be darkly funny, often at the most surprising times, adding levity to an already gonzo true story...” – Keith & the Movies Jan 15, 2026 Full Review Night Patrol (2025) 59% 3/5 EDIT “The film maintains a self-awareness that keeps things fun. And Prows’ clear love for exploring genres produces an infectious energy and a go-for-broke uniqueness that gives the movie an identity all its own.” – Keith & the Movies Jan 14, 2026 Full Review Relentless (2025) 2.5/5 EDIT “"Relentless" might not live up to its name, and it certainly has its flaws...But Botchii’s vision and inspiration, helped by two firmly committed lead performances, keeps the audience engaged, even as the story struggles to fill its lean 93 minutes.” – Keith & the Movies Jan 13, 2026 Full Review Primate (2025) 79% 3.5/5 EDIT “This bonkers horror confection knows exactly what it is and it doesn’t pretend to be anything else. The best part – director Johannes Roberts mostly hits his mark, delivering exactly what fright fans will be expecting.” – Keith & the Movies Jan 12, 2026 Full Review Greenland 2: Migration (2026) 51% 3.5/5 EDIT “With its intriguing world-building and central characters worth rooting for, “Migration” puts you on the edge of your seat and tugs at your heartstrings, all at the same time. ” – Keith & the Movies Jan 10, 2026 Full Review I Was a Stranger (2024) 75% 4/5 EDIT “Anderson impresses with his confident direction and his clear-eyed storytelling, both of which feature big swings from a fresh filmmaker who clearly isn’t afraid of taking chances.” – Keith & the Movies Jan 9, 2026 Full Review The Plague (2025) 97% 4/5 EDIT “Polinger shows himself to have a remarkable vision, using the various arms of cinema to open our senses to a profoundly serious topic. Overall, "The Plague" is a remarkable and significant big screen debut. ” – Keith & the Movies Jan 2, 2026 Full Review We Bury the Dead (2024) 86% 3.5/5 EDIT “Hilditch maintains a good grasp of his material, balancing his rich themes with his obvious love for genre. And while his world can feel too sparse, the story’s human element always finds its way to the surface.” – Keith & the Movies Jan 1, 2026 Full Review The Life of Chuck (2024) 80% 4/5 EDIT “The film is full of terrific performances that bring emotional truth to this curious, otherworldly story. All that’s missing is a Rod Serling introduction.” – Keith & the Movies Dec 31, 2025 Full Review Anaconda (2025) 48% 2/5 EDIT “Director Tom Gormican attempts to tap into the nostalgia that some people apparently have for "Anaconda". But he does so through a movie that lacks the laughs necessary for good comedy and the thrills you look for in good action.” – Keith & the Movies Dec 27, 2025 Full Review Beast of War (2025) 89% 4/5 EDIT “The strikingly cinematic "Beast of War" delivers everything a genre-lover would want and expect. At the same time, Roache-Turner brings along his own playbook which keeps the movie from simply being more of the same.” – Keith & the Movies Dec 23, 2025 Full Review The Housemaid (2025) 74% 2/5 EDIT “Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried square off in Paul Feig's "The Housemaid", a movie that starts off as a fun campy throwback before nosediving in its final act by taking the cheapest and most predictable route available.” – Keith & the Movies Dec 20, 2025 Full Review Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025) 66% 4/5 EDIT “"Fire & Ash" is still a grand science-fiction epic that once again transports us to an awe-inspiring world that could only come from the imagination of James Cameron. And I loved being back.” – Keith & the Movies Dec 19, 2025 Full Review It Was Just an Accident (2025) 97% 4/5 EDIT “While “It Was Just an Accident” has a rebellious spirit that pleads to a nation’s conscience, it at times seems more existential than pointedly political…which resonates from its mysterious start to its hauntingly ambiguous ending.” – Keith & the Movies Dec 18, 2025 Full Review Ella McCay (2025) 22% 1.5/5 EDIT “As well-meaning as it may be, "Ella McCay" is a glaring misfire and a far cry from the significantly better films that have defined James L. Brooks’ career. ” – Keith & the Movies Dec 17, 2025 Full Review Silent Night, Deadly Night (2025) 77% 3/5 EDIT “Nelson isn’t just rehashing some tired formula. He offers his own unique take on the story, tossing in plenty of gruesome kills, a warm romance, some pitch-black humor, and a strong sense of self-awareness.” – Keith & the Movies Dec 16, 2025 Full Review Marty Supreme (2025) 93% 3.5/5 EDIT “"Marty Supreme" is fueled by a chaotic energy that keeps us glued to every wild, unpredictable moment. At the same time, that very manic propulsion rarely slows down enough for Chalamet to find the humanity in his character.” – Keith & the Movies Dec 15, 2025 Full Review Thieves Highway (2025) 2.5/5 EDIT “Johnson and Mills do some fun maneuvering with their characters and Eckhart is a sturdy enough lead. But the storytelling takes too many shortcuts and the overall lack of suspense keeps us one step ahead.” – Keith & the Movies Dec 12, 2025 Full Review
