Piranha II: The Spawning (1981) 4% EDIT “Basically, this movie looks and sounds fine, but it isn't good.” – ScreenAnarchy Dec 2, 2025 Full Review Dracula (1979) 64% EDIT “If you're a fan of this towering literary villain and you've never seen this, you owe it to yourself to fill out the gap in your Dracula film history, because this is a good one.” – ScreenAnarchy Oct 21, 2025 Full Review The Restoration at Grayson Manor (2025) 100% EDIT “Great performances. ... What follows is a less a comedy of errors and more of a series of schemes that hardly go right for anyone --- and that’s the point. ... Another winner. ” – ScreenAnarchy Oct 1, 2025 Full Review Ba (2024) 91% EDIT “A heartwarming blend of genre and drama. ... BA has a big heart and some impressive practical and digital effects. ... BA also looks like a million bucks. ” – ScreenAnarchy Jun 2, 2025 Full Review Starman (1984) 83% EDIT “Excellent acting combine with awesome special effects and fantastic directing from Carpenter, as well as a very well-written script. ” – ScreenAnarchy May 12, 2025 Full Review What Lies Beneath (2000) 49% EDIT “A twisty, supernatural thriller with a good dose of melodrama. Think Hitchcock with a bit of Douglas Sirk. It’s a very well-made film. ... A very enjoyable, fun thriller, the kind that you want to watch on a dark, stormy night. ” – ScreenAnarchy May 8, 2025 Full Review Stockholm Bloodbath (2023) EDIT “In fact, there’s a great movie in here with a different edit, which is a tragedy. The production values are high, the actors good to great. But the modern aesthetics and choices muddy the story and tone.” – ScreenAnarchy Nov 5, 2024 Full Review Gemini (2017) 70% EDIT “I really enjoyed Gemini -- Katz deftly handled the weirdness of the industry in LA within a smart drama and mystery, also peppered with humor.” – ScreenAnarchy Oct 31, 2024 Full Review Balota (2024) EDIT “LGBQTI+ community members will likely find some strength in Balota, due to the messages within. The ending seems a bit too neatly wrapped up and even a bit saccharine to me, but viewers interested in socio-political upheavals will find plenty to like.” – ScreenAnarchy Oct 24, 2024 Full Review Sister Midnight (2024) 98% EDIT “An original vampire film that isn’t quite a vampire film, but if the film is anything, it’s a blueprint in strength and in believing in yourself in a punk rock way, in world that wants you anything but.” – ScreenAnarchy Oct 22, 2024 Full Review Dead Talents Society (2024) 95% EDIT “I recommend Dead Talents Society for a ghostly good time.” – ScreenAnarchy Oct 22, 2024 Full Review Chain Reactions (2024) 98% EDIT “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is as timely as it’s ever been, and even more so now. If you’re a fan, you’ll need to add Chain Reactions to your watch list.” – ScreenAnarchy Oct 22, 2024 Full Review When I Consume You (2021) 89% EDIT “It's masterful and thought-provoking, and an incredible example of what can be done with little. ” – ScreenAnarchy Sep 8, 2022 Full Review The Ascent (1977) 100% EDIT “Emotional, harrowing, absolutely transcendent cinema.” – ScreenAnarchy Mar 1, 2022 Full Review Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) 93% EDIT “Nimble, spry, and surprisingly resilient in its emotional strength.” – ScreenAnarchy Dec 15, 2021 Full Review Class Action Park (2020) 96% EDIT “It's a wild, audacious doc that truly must be seen to be believed.” – ScreenAnarchy Aug 27, 2020 Full Review Freaks (2018) 88% EDIT “From the acting and storytelling to the ingenuity of the scenes, everything is just fantastic.” – ScreenAnarchy Jul 8, 2020 Full Review Terminus (2015) EDIT “The issue with Terminus is that it strives for a very ambitious place in the universe but lacks what it takes to get there.” – ScreenAnarchy May 14, 2020 Full Review
