I Swear (2025) 100% 5/5 EDIT “With its touching message of empathy, acceptance and kindness, along with excellent performances from Aramayo, Peake and Mullan, I Swear is a hugely important and informative watch – and potentially one of this year’s best British films. ” – Movie Marker Oct 13, 2025 Full Review TRON: Ares (2025) 53% 2.5/5 EDIT “Fans may be left feeling more derezzed than impressed after the significant wait for this disappointing third instalment.” – We Have a Hulk Oct 9, 2025 Full Review Superman (2025) 83% 3/5 EDIT “Goofy, colourful and action-packed, James Gunn’s Superman is an earnest but overstuffed comic book adaptation of one of DC’s most beloved heroes.” – We Have a Hulk Jul 8, 2025 Full Review Elio (2025) 83% 3/5 EDIT “Pixar once again heads to infinity and beyond for their latest big screen foray, exploring strange new worlds with their signature blend of heartfelt storytelling and incredibly creative visuals.” – Movie Marker Jul 1, 2025 Full Review How to Train Your Dragon (2025) 77% 4/5 EDIT “How to Train Your Dragon is a hugely faithful live-action adaptation with absolutely stunning locations, lavish sets and immersive action sequences.” – We Have a Hulk Jun 13, 2025 Full Review Thunderbolts* (2025) 88% 4/5 EDIT “With a character-driven story, an outstanding ensemble cast & impressive practical action, Thunderbolts is easily one of the best Marvel movies in a long time.” – We Have a Hulk Apr 29, 2025 Full Review The Penguin Lessons (2024) 78% 2/5 EDIT “While the trailer paints this as a cutesy animal comedy with shades of Dead Poets Society come Fly Away Home, be prepared for a film that certainly has much more gut wrenching drama than expected.” – Movie Marker Apr 25, 2025 Full Review Hans Zimmer & Friends: Diamond in the Desert (2025) 5/5 EDIT “With insightful interviews as well as an incredibly immersive, visceral performance, Hans Zimmer & Friends: Diamond in the Desert is a must-see for film fans and certainly one of the best big screen concert films yet. ” – Movie Marker Mar 5, 2025 Full Review Captain America: Brave New World (2025) 46% 2.5/5 EDIT “Brave New World is a fine but often frustrating geopolitical affair. Mackie, Ramirez & Lumbly all share an excellent chemistry but they’re unfortunately forced to play second fiddle in an overstuffed sequel to The Incredible Hulk and Eternals.” – We Have a Hulk Feb 15, 2025 Full Review The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep (2025) 58% 3/5 EDIT “Sirens of the Deep excels amongst the incredibly stylish animation, excellent creature designs and the endearing Jaskier and Geralt dynamic. But despite Cockle and Batey’s excellent vocal performances, the instalment feels like a mixed bag overall.” – We Have a Hulk Feb 11, 2025 Full Review Star Trek: Section 31 (2025) 23% 2.5/5 EDIT “While Section 31 does give viewers a little more insight into the Terran Empire and their ruthless customs, the narrative oddly pivots from a strong start...to a more generic outfit unfortunately missing all the hallmark Star Trek elements.” – We Have a Hulk Feb 6, 2025 Full Review The Colors Within (2024) 92% 3/5 EDIT “The Colors Within is an endearing character-driven film about the love of music, friendship and the discovery of your own unique colours. ” – Movie Marker Feb 4, 2025 Full Review Mufasa: The Lion King (2024) 56% 2/5 EDIT “Despite earnest found family themes and visually beautiful animation, prequel Mufasa feels like an unnecessary instalment which disappointingly conflicts with the wider Lion King mythos.” – Movie Marker Dec 22, 2024 Full Review Wicked (2024) 88% 4/4 EDIT “Despite the indulgent runtime, Wicked is a spellbindingly entertaining big screen experience which will certainly go down a treat with fans of the beloved musical.” – We Have a Hulk Nov 20, 2024 Full Review Paddington in Peru (2024) 93% 3/5 EDIT “While Paddington in Peru doesn’t quite capture the charm and magic of the second instalment, (sorry Paddington, please don’t break out the dreaded Hard Stare) there’s undeniably still bags of heartwarming moments and delightful adventure to enjoy.” – Movie Marker Nov 4, 2024 Full Review Venom: The Last Dance (2024) 40% 2/5 EDIT “Despite featuring a Venom horse and Venom dancing with Mrs Chen to ABBA, this concluding instalment disappointingly shies away from what’s made the franchise the surprise hit for Sony – the kooky but surprisingly endearing Eddie Brock/Venom dynamic.” – Movie Marker Nov 2, 2024 Full Review Firebrand (2023) 58% 2/5 EDIT “Alicia Vikander gives a graceful performance and the lavish period production shines, but unfortunately this is more fizzle-out than fire-starter.” – Empire Magazine Sep 30, 2024 Full Review Alien: Romulus (2024) 80% 3/5 EDIT “It may not be the perfect organism, but Alien Romulus is certainly a tense and terrifying addition to the franchise. ” – Movie Marker Aug 15, 2024 Full Review Janet Planet (2023) 85% 3/5 EDIT “This gentle and intimate coming-of-age drama from beloved playwright Annie Baker is an assured but frustratingly slow-paced directorial debut which evokes the bittersweet nostalgia of ‘90s pre-teen girlhood.” – Empire Magazine Jul 19, 2024 Full Review Chuck Chuck Baby (2023) 100% 3/5 EDIT “An endearing tale of self-acceptance, wearing its heart fully on its sleeve thanks to the affecting central romance and joyous transformation of its protagonist.” – Empire Magazine Jul 16, 2024 Full Review Inside Out 2 (2024) 91% 4/5 EDIT “While the second instalment doesn’t quite pack as much of an emotional punch, it’s still an incredibly creative, wonderfully animated & thought-provoking journey.” – We Have a Hulk Jun 14, 2024 Full Review The Fall Guy (2024) 82% 4/5 EDIT “Strap in for an explosively entertaining blockbuster ride with both Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt on brilliant form – just make sure you stick around for the wonderful end-credits making-of sequence. Roll on the spicy margaritas!” – Movie Marker May 25, 2024 Full Review Kung Fu Panda 4 (2024) 71% 2/5 EDIT “Despite Jack Black’s relentless enthusiasm and the impressive artistry on offer, Kung Fu Panda 4 unfortunately feels like an underwhelming and unnecessary instalment in a franchise which should have stopped following the heartfelt third outing.” – Movie Marker May 25, 2024 Full Review Monkey Man (2024) 89% 4/5 EDIT “Offering incredibly stylish showdowns and a fresh cultural twist on the revenge thriller, Monkey Man proves a bloody and blistering directorial debut from Dev Patel.” – Movie Marker May 25, 2024 Full Review Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024) 90% 3.5/5 EDIT “There’s no doubting the incredible world-building and exhilarating spectacle, along with the ambitious nature of unpacking the truth behind a myth, however the lengthy runtime is far too bloated, often feeling more style over substance. ” – We Have a Hulk May 25, 2024 Full Review
