Jurassic World Rebirth (2025) Kevin Carr More than 30 years after Spielberg’s brilliant film, this sequel has much better visual FX, but still lacks the interesting characters and snappy dialogue. But lets’ face it… you’re here for the spectacle, and JURASSIC WORLD: REBIRTH delivers on that.

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning (2025) Kevin Carr The final action sequence is breathtaking and beautifully shot. Unfortunately, you have to wade through a lot of slow dialogue, reiterated plot points, complicated MacGuffins, and music crescendos to get there.

Sinners (2025) Kevin Carr At its heart, SINNERS is a serious drama about the lives and struggles of Black Americans in the early 20th century. The vampire angle is more secondary… or rather, symbolic. This leads to a deeper, richer story with complex characters in shades of gray.

Love Hurts (2025) Kevin Carr Most scenes bounce from overly-choreographed fight sequence to an info dump of extraneous exposition, then back to a different-yet-repetitive fight sequence. Add some bad lighting and murky cinematography, it’s hard to tell what’s happening half the time.
