While this kind of tale is a fantasy for the movies, with an emphasis on realism in style and deliberately paced story, "Before We Go" suggests that it really can happen, even just for a fleeting moment.

Chris Evans is wise to pick a script that deals with a small cast that takes place over the course of a single night for his directorial debut. Evans and Eve have a pretty sweet chemistry and the tentative romance between them feels earnest.

Before We Go is mediocre at best and ultimately a forgettable film. Still, it's also somehow decently entertaining despite its shortcomings and occasionally drawn-out melodrama. A film best seen from the comfort of your own home.

A simple yet charming tale of two people who meet in a chance encounter at Grand Central Station that leads to a journey through NY. Likeable characters (Chris Evans and Alice Eve) have decent chemistry together. Directed by Chris Evans in his directorial debut.

This was the longest 2 hour movie with no real plot line. Boring and slow with a forbidden romance that didn't really make sense. The only thing the movie had going for it was that Chris Evans was in it. The movie didn't make sense and had no build up for the supposed romance, until the last 14 minutes of the movie. Waste of 2 hours of time.

Very cute and feel good movie! Back when rom coms were good and simple minded. There’s obviously some faults in the plot line, but other than that, a great tearjerker if you’re sensitive like me.
