This is the sort of horror film that hooks you from frame one with both smarts and frights. Go to Full Review

...there's simply no overlooking the general sense of incompetence that's been hard-wired into virtually every aspect of the production. Go to Full Review

The Plague certainly isn't an awful little chiller flick, but given its crafty opening premise (and the attached name of Clive Barker), I was hoping for a little more from the follow-through. Go to Full Review

Scott S @Rebus20 Jan 19 I tried watching this on prime, what a terrible movie. The acting was so bad that I had to turn it off less than halfway through. Don't waste your time See more chad D. @Chaddie Jan 6 What was even the point of this story? You end up caring nothing about the characters and get no explanations. I think they were going for a Stephen King made for tv movie which are surprisingly fantastic and blew it horribly. Lastly, any stooge could have done Van Der Beeks part so you know that’s where the budget went. See more Zach D @Doyledad Jan 4 Terrible. All these actors who cannot get a break and all these writers who cannot get their film made and this garbage makes it out to the public. See more Mary Kate M 09/22/2023 Ok, so it's an older movie, but it's a fun ride! See more Ben E 08/25/2023 A vaguely interesting idea executed without imagination. See more Ash P @AshParth 08/18/2023 Clive Barker's The Plague: For a title called The Plaque and directed by Clive Barker who is famous with some of his works, you'd think it'd be interesting, right? Sadly, it's not the case since it's confusing to most parts and the cast were just there. I'll admit, a couple of scenes were pleasant but the rest, just boring and even the deaths weren't that impressive. Hell, the way the kids were going through and ten years later becoming psychotic without explanation was also boring. The ending was okay, I guess, but it doesn't really save much since it was slow that even Cooties involving Zombie Children were more subtle. For the most, I'd feel sorry for Clive for making something like this. Rating: 2/10 See more Read all reviews
