Mary V Apr 27 I have been of fan of Howard Ashman's since the 1980's. This lovely documentary captures his brilliance. See more Dave C 01/10/2025 A beautiful look at the life behind some of the most iconic and timeless classics of some of the biggest Disney animations. For me, it served as an informative introduction to Howard, not having known his name or role within Disney before. What an artist! As with so many crushing stories of lives lost to AIDS, his is a legacy cut short, and watching this has made me so happy I am such a huge fan of his work... and now I can proudly share his name alongside my power ballad singing on car journeys and at home! See more dave d 11/11/2020 Hubby and Wife date night brings us 'Howard' which isn't about a duck, but rather the brilliant Howard Ashman, the man behind the renaissance of Disney animation in the 80s and 90s. The documentary covers a lot of ground and it's a look not only at the man but his process. This is the genius behind films like The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast.
