Wonky, both in its fascination with policy, and in its eccentrically dry tone ... Go to Full Review

It all feels more suited to the classroom than a movie theatre when Schreiber details how raising interest rates slows economic activity, or how the Fed became "banker to the world." Go to Full Review

Money For Nothing lacks the rush of Rush, but you still might find your pulse racing and your blood boiling by the film's end. Go to Full Review

Possibly too appealing and accessible to be taken seriously enough for impact. But at least it's entertaining and informative to a degree for us layfolk. Go to Full Review

As an introductory course in monetary policy, it works. This is an admirably wonky film, but its audience will likely be small; it's too simplistic for experts but too dry for the masses. Go to Full Review

11/15/2019 This is a very revealing documentary about the Fed's (and the other central banks like ECB, BOJ) role in creating all the bubbles, and honestly reveals that central planning doesn't seem to work at all. This falls in line with many economists (particularly free market Austrian economists) and it is to be believed that the way forward is by regulating the central banks themselves first so that they can't do the easy money policy. Otherwise, we will truly never get out of this Monetary Roach Motel as the economist Peter Schiff likes to say. See more s r @ScottR 06/09/2017 A film that tries to stay balanced, but it still tilts. Informative. See more 08/29/2016 8/29/16 Netflix Informative as hell albeit a bit wonkish. Scary as hell if you heed to the warnings about down the road policy. Mad as hell at those who allow and encourage bubbles such as Alan Geenspan and greedy bankers and corrupt politicians and morally bankrupt regulatory agencies. See more 10/29/2015 Informative.
