What makes Jenn-O the Clown happy? Putting smiles on peoples' faces, of course! But so does torture, murder, sex, and cannibalism. Jennifer Sullivan was the proverbial wunderkind. Talented, intelligent, ambitious, and propelled by a strict "momager", she dreamed of success. Now 30 years old, she works a meaningless job, having never discovered the secret of turning her abilities into fame and fortune. It doesn't help that her slovenly husband neglects her, and her mother rubs her nose in her perceived failures. The only thing that brings her happiness is her side gig as a clown. Her coworker, Ryan, offers a glimmer of hope. Jenn reaches a breaking point and coalesces her talent as a clown with her fascination of classic movie monsters and serial killers to unleash a night of infamy that will finally make her famous. That is, unless the tough-as-nails Detective Lauren Marshall and her partner Jacob Barnes can put a stop to her night of terror. Game on!

Proves that there is still room for an old-fashioned horror in the modern horror landscape. Patrick Rea shows he should be directing the new Blumhouse release while Jennifer Seward's performance should make her a horror icon. Go to Full Review

Written by Eric Winkler, the film explores a woman’s early infatuation with clowns, her desperation to be heard, and how loneliness spreads like a plague. While the film doesn’t totally stick the landing, there’s plenty here to dig into and enjoy. Go to Full Review
