Tiffany Y Sep 28 At the height of the opioid crisis Veterans were killing themselves at a rate of 22 per day. Today that number is closer to 17, which is still way too many. While we're doing better with drug management, many are still given a cocktail of prescriptions that can be replaced with natural alternatives. The VA is even considering psilocybin. It's a shame our government continues to demonize cannabis when it has already become socially acceptable as both a recreational drug and a life-saving medicine. It's time for change. Legalize it!
