Tiffany Y Sep 28 At the height of the opioid crisis Veterans were killing themselves at a rate of 22 per day. Today that number is closer to 17, which is still way too many. While we're doing better with drug management, many are still given a cocktail of prescriptions that can be replaced with natural alternatives. The VA is even considering psilocybin. It's a shame our government continues to demonize cannabis when it has already become socially acceptable as both a recreational drug and a life-saving medicine. It's time for change. Legalize it! Decrying the Reefer Madness overreaction of 50 years ago, it presents their view that conventional meds are bad but that cannabis is the perfect solution.
