The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) Brandon Avery Fantastic Four is undoubtedly a win for Marvel Studios! One of the best introductions to familiar characters. The visuals, action beats, and family dynamic were personal, fresh, and rewarding. Definitely worth your time.

Thunderbolts* (2025) Brandon Avery Superb display of powers & abilities from the cast. Florence Pugh as Yelena steals the show. She's a fantastic lead, & delivers one of the better performances from the MCU. The team dynamic is great, but the banter between characters is a bit excessive.

The Amateur (2025) Brandon Avery The first act feels as if you watching the best film of the year, but then the 2nd act drags taken too long to get from one point to the next. The ending was fair, but anticlimactic. Jon Bernthal is wasted, yet Malek & Fishburne show up as expected.

Venom: The Last Dance (2024) Brandon Avery Could never accept such a goofy/silly character. Venom The Last Dance is a fun, wild, hot mess. There's too much plot that's never explained. Events just happen randomly with no payoff, with a big action scene towards the end.

Dragon Ball DAIMA (2024) Brandon Avery In episode 1 the animation is superb, with so much detail, and retells some of the best moments from DBZ. In only 32 minutes you're introduced to new and past characters, and are promised a whole new exciting world to explore. Feels like true adventure.

Alien: Romulus (2024) Brandon Avery One of the better sequels! Took a while to get started, but once it did it doesn't stop! Really enjoyed the practical effects, loud sounds, and silence. A great mix of action, adventure, and horror. When I thought it was over the movie kept surprising me!
